We are professional musicians who make user friendly profiles that are studio and stage ready.
We work directly with artists to replicate their sound and tell the story of how they found it.
You won’t find endless options in our profiles. We are music professionals making products for music professionals. We simplify the Kemper experience so you can get straight to what you do best: making great music.
Our Kemper profiles enable you to find inspiration from artists you love and respect. By working directly with these artists, we go beyond mimicking the type of gear they use - we capture the essence of their sound and share that story.
Scottie has a unique two-amp setup that isn’t your typical, run of the mill stereo approach. We profiled his two favorite amps - yes, the ones you’ve heard on stage and countless records, and recreated his pedalboard in the Kemper effects section to give you access to the amazing variety of tones he creates.

There is only one James Duke, and the "That's So James Duke" Signature Series profile embodies his amp choices and his tonal approach.
There is only one James Duke, and after many requests we took everything we could from his Helix Floor Preset and put into a PodGo preset.
The "That's So James Duke" PodGo Preset embodies his amp choices and his tonal approach.
This preset works only for PodGo.

We believe iconic tone is the culmination of technical creation and human inspiration. Also, cyborgs.
We start all our concepts with the artist in mind, not the gear. The result is a simple but profound line of inspiring profiles for use in the studio and on stage.
Nolan has been a studio and touring engineer for 15 years. Working with major labels and independent artists in Detroit, Nashville, Portland, and LA, his studio work has been featured on PBS, ESPN, MTV, and Showtime. Nolan’s touring experience as an audio engineer and production manager has taken him around the world a few times over, collaborating with over 20 artists including Keb Mo, Crowder, Katie Hertzig, Brooke Fraser and many others. Nolan approaches all of his technical roles with an artist’s mind. He thinks that Kempers sound amazing but can be pretty miserable to use, which is why he got some of his buds together and started Tone Thieves.
James has been an integral part of the Christian music scene for over 15 years. He has lent his talents to artists like John Mark McMillan, Matt Redman, Johnnyswim, Jason Upton, Rita Springer, Chris Tomlin, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jesus Culture, and Michael W Smith - to name a few.
